Entry Level CNC Machine Operator - 1st Shift


To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report to the company’s Arlington, TX branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified candidates with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Set up CNC lathes to produce components.

  • Upload CNC programs into machines using Fanuc controls

  • Change out tooling for CNC machines as required.

  • Assist operators in other machine/part setup.

  • Verify that first run parts meet required specifications.

  • Work from process sheets, blueprints or other written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production setup tasks.

  • Help to maintain machines and work areas in a clean and safe manner.

  • Work in other areas or departments as assigned.


  • Must be able to work First Shift

  • Must have experience operating CNC machines.

  • Must be able make adjustments on the controls for speeds and feeds

  • Must be proficient with micrometers, calipers, depth and height gauges, and other measuring tools

  • Must be able to communicate professionally with machinists, supervisors, and managers

  • Requires average math skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide decimals. Must also be able to convert fractions to decimals.

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English

  • Must be able to work scheduled hours and comply with the company’s timekeeping policy and all other company policies

  • Must be able to consistently stand for entire shift
