Expedia Manager, Gift Card Partnerships (Hotels.com) in Dallas, Texas

The Hotels.com Partnerships & Gift Cards team is looking for a Manager of Gift Card Partnerships to lead the strategy, growth and development of existing external gift cards relationships in North America. In this role, you will own all current partnerships including those in our B2B and Third Party Retail channels and B2C distribution channels. You will work with existing partners extensively in marketing initiatives and look for ways to optimize those relationships. You will also work cross-functionally to lead analytical efforts to better understand channel, partner and promotional efficiency.

*Role Responsibilities:*

  • Manage existing B2B Partnerships end-to-end including account management, marketing, enhanced distribution within existing relationship and oversee agency partner support
  • Manage partnerships with third party partners, InComm and Blackhawk Network, to maximize distribution and strategically plan marketing efforts to drive efficient sales in both their Third Party Retail and B2B channels

  • Prepare partner level sales and card production forecasts quarterly

  • Oversee agency partner relationships to ensure operational, reporting and invoicing process optimization

  • Oversee gift card processor and First Party (B2C) relationships, provide strategic direction and act as the key liaison to these business partners

  • Support Business Development in their efforts to work with partners for coupons, affiliates, promotions, product integrations and more

  • Assist in shaping the business strategy for gift cards to align with the overall strategy for Hotels.com and Expedia Group

  • Build and maintain internal and external promotional calendar and work with partners to secure marketing placements during key timeframes

  • Benchmark activity against competitors and best of breed retailers. Continue to innovate and evolve our campaigns to maintain competitiveness

  • Work closely with the Analytics team to optimize partner and promotional efficiency and drive incremental growth

  • Develop annual activation goals and meet or exceed them

  • Up to 15% travel required to attend industry conferences and partner visits

  • Position location preferred in Hotels.com Dallas office HQ

*Required Experience & Qualifications:*

  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
  • 2+ years of gift card program management or B2B partnership experience
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong belief in exceptional customer service / focus
  • Experience in travel, e-commerce, retail or merchandising function is a plus
  • Proven ability to sell to and influence all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to prioritize and deliver with limited time / resources
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment
