KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Global Information Protection and Compliance to join our Global Service Center organization.


  • Lead ongoing efforts around implementation and maintenance of records of personal data processing activities based on global regulatory requirements

  • Support the development and implementation of KPMGI's global information management and protection strategy and policies to comply with applicable laws and regulations and meet client expectations; including data privacy, confidentiality, examining cross border data flows and protecting intellectual capital

  • Provide guidance on information protection matters to global business groups and KPMG member firms

  • Partner with internal business groups to maintain internal and external information protection requirements

  • Provide advice and recommendations regarding information protection controls to IT projects throughout the lifecycle, including managing the risk assessment methodology and documentation

  • Develop implementation materials surrounding marketing, social media, cloud, mobile applications, and emerging technologies and privacy risks


  • Minimum of four years of experience in Information Data Protection and Risk Management; preferably for a global organization

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge related to information privacy issues with regards to evolving technology such as mobile, cloud, global hosting

  • Professional privacy or security qualifications such as CIPP and/or CISSP preferred

  • Ability to work on large-scale international projects as well as manage multiple processes and projects at once
