KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Internal Accountant to join our Accounting Services organization.
Serve as primary point of contact between the DASC and the Federal Services practice for the purpose of booking journal entries in SYNC (SAP), maintaining due to and due from accounts, reporting and audits
Working with Quality Review offshore team, ensure their preparation of monthly quality review reporting, assist in the analysis of results and assist in the determination of reporting formats
Prepare monthly DASC Operations Report; report and analyze monthly department operational results and work with department stakeholders to determine key operational metrics
Assist with the monthly updating of the cash basis Fixed Asset system and the running of depreciation processes for the purpose of booking depreciation in the Cash Ledger
Ad hoc projects and updating the AP vendor invoice Approval Matrix and business process documentation
Assist in developing efficiencies in business processes through automation
Minimum of three years of experience in an accounting or finance operation managing multiple work assignments
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience from an accredited college/university
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead, collaborate and interact professionally with a diverse team of resources
Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to problems and issues
Knowledge of SAP specifically Financial Accounting modules, reporting and transaction codes
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products including Excel graphs and charts
